[MD] [MD} The relativity of the MoQ

Arlo,

I'm out of here, Arlo. As far as I'm concerned, the political
considerations are not worth the effort to play your game. I think it was
you who recommended Carse's book, I just wonder if you actually read it.

[Marsha]
The propaganda spins through all slices of the political spectrum.

[Arlo]
Sure it does. And that's why if you read back into the archives, you'll see
a
comment I made to John about disgusted by the rhetoric of BOTH sides;
misinformed "protesters" yelling at misinformed "legislators". As John aptly
put, and I agreed, it amounts to nothing more than BOTH sides beating each
other over their heads with signs painted with their slogans. Which is why
it
is particularly embarrassing to see Platt squalk that nonsense here.

So again, I responded only after several moronic claims about "death panels"
appeared. Then, I only responded to Ron's wonderfully sarcastic reply about
"democrats" wanting to turn old folk into food. And then this sarcasm was
distorted into claims about me "favoring execution" and how academia
promotes
"willing execution" of those who disagree.

You can lament my tactics all you, Marsha. But it continues to amaze me that
you give Platt free pass for posting this moronic bullshit in the first
place.
What? Its okay to claim that people in the academy want to execute those
with
whom they disagree, but its not okay to point out that that statement is
fucking moronic? Its okay for Platt to squalk distortions about "death
panels",
but its not okay to sarcastically respond to such nonsense and point out how
shameful and distortive it is?

Let me ask, if I posted something about how conservatives want to execute
poor
people, and how everyone on the "right" wanted to kill people who they
disagree
with, and Platt responded with a sarcastic reply, would you be berating
HIM???
Because you are sure as hell more concerned with my sarcastic replies to his
nonsense than the outrageous and embarrassing distortions he posts in the
first
place.

Ignore it? I did. As I said, several times. But repeated idiocy about "death
panels" only embarrasses a forum I care about. And at some point, someone
has
to point it out for what it is; shameful, deceptive and outright moronic.

Write a poem about it? Okay.

There once was a man named Platt,
Who's ideas derived from talk-radio shat,
He squalked them here,
And so I do fear,
We are all shamed by this moronic prat.

Now am I redeemed?
