Right. Once again, chastise me, ignore Platt. Let him make all the idiotic, and
outright shameless comments he wants, because, hey, he posts about art at
times. But Arlo, no no no, let Arlo finally get fed up with the shameless
idiocy he posts ("death panels") and call him out on it, and its Big Bad
Arlo... 

I ask again, where was the chastising when Platt claimed that people in
academia are "willing executioners" of those who they disagree with? Where was
the chastising when Platt repeatedly posted nonsense about "death panels"?
Where was the concern over the integrity of the forum then???

And I repeat. I ignored Platt's idiotic nonsense. But after several posts
squalking about "death panels", I could no longer. Doesn't that sort of
distortive rhetoric shame you? It does me. But apparently all that's okay, but
its wrong to call it out for what it is.

There is no "game" here. His idiocy embarrasses me. And that angers me. And
that you would call ME out for responding to him nonsense with straightforward
"call it for what it is", just baffles me. 

I guess the lesson is this. Anyone can post the most shameful, distortive,
moronic stuff they want, but the person who finally breaks and says "that's
idiotic", they are the bad guy.

And, as I just reread the thread looking for details, I didn't even call his
nonsense out for what it was directly until AFTER he tried to distort my
sarcastic post of agreement with Ron into evidence that I want to "murder" him,
and "execute" anyone with whom I disagree (an accusation he nauseatingly turned
against "the academy").

I guess for him to say all that was okay, I mean, since you have said nothing
whatsoever about it to him.

But you are right, here, this HAS gone on too long. I said my peace. But I
guarantee we'll see more "death panel" bullshit in the forum again before too
long. But hey, so long as nobody calls him on it, we certainly would not want
THAT!
