Many thanks to you Platt, I'm overwhelmed but return the
compliments. Your Christmas Card from long ago, a water-color of
a steam locomotive-pulled train passing a snow-clad farm is a
dear possession of mine, I get downright sentimental over it. BTW
I found the said "How to paint", it was Henry Gasser's from 1966.
He was born in 1909 and died in 1981, was member of the
National Academy and lived in New Jersey Check this address:

You will possibly like the title of the book advertised on the page:

A MOQ painting gallery.... hmm ... that will require much bytes if in
the mega- range, but that may not pose any problem these days. I
still chuckle over famous utterings from the early days of
computers, for instance "... there will not be a demand for more
than four or five computers throughout the world" (or something
like that) and "... computers of the future will not weigh more that a
ton".
