Greetings,

 

I suppose this will be a weak retraction of my comment, "I don't give a
bunny's butt about William James."   This morning I started to read, '

The Dalai Lama at MIT' by Anne Harrington and Arthur Zajonc, and throughout
the first two chapters are numerous WJ quotes, and looking ahead there are
many more WJ references peppered all through the book.  But my statement was
never quite true anyway because I did read and very much enjoyed his
biography.   

 

Here's a quote I particularly like, "Introspective Observation is what we
have to rely on first and foremost and always."

  

Eating my words is no big deal, it has happened many times.
