BTW,

I have my copy of Crawford's "Shop Class as Soul Craft"
Contrary to the impression I got previously the book does include
significant multiple references to Pirsig and ZMM (but not Lila) as well as
the obvious parallels in subject matter and the allusion to Pirsig in the
sub-title "an enquiry into the value of work".

It does inlcude metaphysical material as well as work/life-style stuff.
Looking forward to reading it.
