Darn that Siddhartha!  He's been leading us astray all this time.

So you could say something similar to Buddha but ending on  a more positive
note -   Suffering holds the key to all desire.  I like that.  I was
thinking something along these lines this morning in my garden, that the
roots grow deepest when they have to really strain for the water in the
ground.
