John:
We name the emotions and our names are intellectual constructions. But what
do our names signify?
They signify something, that's for sure.
Hi John,
If experience of quality is an emotion, then in zmm RMP establishes the existence of quality phenomenologicaly.
His examples of abstract beauty (like the chemical bonding ring) are experienced as emotional responses.
The next step is to define the phenomenologicaly established quality as an intellectual postulation, and this introduces Dynamic and static aspects. But the Dynamic aspect is that which has been established phenomenologicaly.
The static is epistemic and metaphysical by turns.
All the best,
squonk
