Excellent posts Arlo. Platt has a (religious) belief and a political
conviction and from that belief and conviction 'sees'.
As Pirsig pointed out 'believing is seeing' and not the other way
around. This leads Platt to distort,distract,and bend (by
de-contextualising the quotes he pulls from LILA) in an effort to make
them fit.

But you know all this of course. I admire your patience.
