[MD] in defence of the "relative"

yea, I was surprised too, I did'nt realize it until I was put on this job
appearently the river flows the opposite direction twice a day in that area.

How I understand it, the chemicals bond with the waste and drop to the bottom of the basin,
when the tide comes in it dilutes the waste water then goes back out leaving only the heavy waste behind in the basin and releasing ,relativly clean water back into the environment.
Ah The power of chemistry. I was surveying the erosion on the dyke separating the river
from the storage basin. The basin side  has a fairly sheer drop that is only exposed
at lo tide, well the tide was coming in, and we needed 400ft of shots on the retaining
walls, The kid I was with did'nt have experience and was having a hard time getting the shots
which had me leaning the prism pole, extended to 15ft out over the basin. Everything is covered
with sludge and well, you know the rest...my feet went out, I fell on my ass and tumble/slid over
the edge.
More inconvieniant than anything, it got cold yesterday afternoon, 52 is chilly in wet cloths.
But thanks, I'm drinking plenty of water as you suggested, there werent any critters, like ducks
or geese on the basin, which gives me cause for concern as to just what the hell I fell into.

yikes

maybe I'll get superpowers, or grow a third arm..or probably, just get sick..

my head is killin me, and my vision was all screwy this morning.

I've stayed in Philadelphia during a trip to the Barnes Foundation.  I'm
surprised to hear that there are significant tides that far up the river.
Anyway, I hope you are feeling better.  -Marsha

High tide in Pennsylvania?  Never mind...  I'm going back to painting where
I can get the straight poop.

Thanks Marsha,
I'm alittle banged up, it was quite a drop into some sort of bonding agent
to
filter out impurities in waste water...therefore the banks of the basin were
quite slippery
I was lucky it was High tide.

Ron,

OMG, that doesn't sound good.  Are you okay?  Drink lots and lots of water
would be my recommendation.

Marsha

p.s.  If you meant leaving the apprehension of 'I know not what' out of the
statement, I agree.  I meant all our knowledge is relative.  And maybe you
would agree, that DQ and sq are co-dependent?

Marsha:

Andre & Ron,

Pop.mail has been down, or I would have said the same thing earlier.  It's
analogy and relative, every last bit of it. But as stated by John,
metaphysics is addictive.

Ron:
What has me disagreeing about "all" being relative is the universal basic
response to the hot stove/ analogy Pirsig makes..but besides that, I agree.

Marsha to herself:
I'm whining, aren't I?.  I
suppose I should just read the prologue again.

Andre:
Or fry an egg and eat it, clean the dirty dishes, stand in the rain
and feel it dry, watch the sun until it disappears, have a nice drink
and swallow it, think of something and forget it, paint until it is
finished. Live and you will change every moment.Die and you will
change every moment.
Ahhh, its all relative isn't it?
