True, Paul made unsavory remarks about women.  But still he could/did say:  "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free. male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Gal 3:28). This must count for something. I think this comment saved Paul from the fires of hell, but not from purgatory. (SMILEY)
