[MD] Some historical perspective

Ian,
'Cultural heritages and traditions' is really too general a term for
consideration. Art, well, that belongs to the Code Of Art process.
Inferior is not a term I've used for 'cultural heritages and traditions.' I
have stated clearly that a shaman may be immensely more intelligent than an
intellectual.
It is my interpretation that at the moment(now) when action needs to be
taken one should drop the thinking/ evaluation and 'do the right thing',
"And what is good, Phædrus, And what is not good... Need we ask anyone to
tell us these things?" For me that is also the meaning of:
"Kill all intellectual patterns.
Kill them completely
And then follow Dynamic Quality
And morality will be served."
Marsha

Marsha, somewhere back in this thread before you long dialogue with
Ron, you asked me what were these "more interesting PoV's" that were
missing from BO's SOL picture ?
The dialogue with Ron is your answer - these cultural heritages and
traditions, the arts, etc - are patterns of interest (of value) to us
all, - with a large social element clearly, yet they are automatically
"inferior" to SOMism if SOMism is the sum total of the intellectual
level ? That just can't be right ?
Practically this view of the MoQ gives us no other workable way to
evaluate better or worse patterns that cross the social and
intellectual levels - 99% of debate on here for as long as I can
remember.
Regards
Ian
