I don't "apply" the SOL (the MOQ for chrissake!!!) like a ritual, it just 
relives me from the SOM and has become my outlook..

You really ask how the MOQ is better than the SOM, isn't that clear to 
you by now? But to be better SOM must be MOQ's intellectual level, 
lest intellect is the/ a mind-level where the MOQ now "is on your 
mind" while SOM is "out of mind" ...etc. and the Mind/Matter 
metaphysics (AKA SOM)  rules.  

An aside:
Some people envy animals for not knowing the difference between 
good and evil,  this is the social levels regret of having left the 
biological level's "innocenceinnocence", but there's a corresponding 
intellectual envy of the social level which isn't oppressed by SOM. So 
I wonder if you really have your focus in intellect but are social-
focussed.    

Anyway, by shifting the metaphysical  focus from Subject/Object to 
Dynamic/Static - and the static levels -  SOM loses its metaphysical 
rank and changes into intellect's static VALUE, and this 
transformation is the world-shaking event ..  what makes it so hard to 
grasp.

I can only point to the "in-out turned sock" metaphor, and the "bug" 
that before lived in a stinking confined environment suddenly finds 
itself surrounded by fresh air and great new vistas. You can't be all 
bad for asking these questions ;-)
