Quite so Marsha. I find it embarrassing and leaves me powerless as well.
Number one: it is unnecessary and two: such metaphors reinforce once again a
whole garbage load of connotations and practices I had hoped, with the
emergence of the intellectual level, we'd grown out of.
In this sense to use an organic characteristic to manipulate both the social
and intellectual level is immoral.
( a bit like Hitler using the physical characteristics of Jews to
justify killing a society and subdue intellect).
