Ron's sounds like som reluctant acknowledgment, at least an 
understanding. The distinction is really between intelligence and the 
intellectual level which is  wider than objectivism, but as the  latter 
proved the better way to convey the SOL message so be it.    

"Confusion"? Not at all, SOL is the only way to remove the confusion 
that has haunted the MOQ since LILA. Arlo says he "agrees with 
Pirsig" but what Pirsig?  P. of ZAMM who created the SOL or the LILA 
author who introduced the mind-intellect, "Lila's Child" annotator, or 
the letter-to- Paul writer.  Regarding  "chauvinism", if it is the Muslim 
issue I consider the Western Culture to be "inferior" to the Oriental in a 
Q-context and, mark you, this has no racial or intelligence overtones.      
And I know (from a letter) that Pirsig regarded the 11. September 
attacks  as a Q-social strike back at Q intellect.
