Hi Bo and All,

When I try to understand your argument from Pirsig that the September 11
attacks were regarded by Pirsig as a Q-social strike back at Q intellect, I
become a little bit confused.  I don¹t see that tall buildings are in
themselves offensive.  However I do see that if I interpret the ³Q-social²
response as a ³Q-emotional² response, then, I can be in sympathy with
someone having an emotional aversion to buildings called ³World Trade
Centers² in that it is an emotional affront to claim ³World Anything², by
one nation.  Maybe, the World series in baseball, and the World boxing
Championships, added emotional fuel to a smoldering fire against the
arrogance of claiming global influence for insignificant sports when the
world has gotten so much smaller by the advance of the means for
transportation, like airplanes.  A little bit of competition.
