"One of the principal reasons that the dualistic or 'divide and
conquer' approach has been so pernicious is that the error of
dualism forms the root of intellection and is therefore next to
impossible to uproot by intellection. (Catch 22: If I have a fly in
my eye, how can I see I have fly in my eye?)"

I liked that. What was it about Wilber that didn't fit the MOQ? At least
this sounds like he's not only MOQist, but interpret intellect as S/O
dualism as well. And its resistance to being superseded by a greater
system is just spot on. I seem to remember DMB was a Wilber fan,
hope he reads this.

Bo:

Unfortunately Wilber is a dedicated SOMist. His big schematic of reality is
divided into Interior (Subjective) and Exterior (Objective). He offers a lot of
interesting stuff about the Great Chain of Being, and his critiques of
contemporary philosophical outlooks, like Postmodernism, are devastating.
Still, he has precious little to offer about morals. They play no role in his
analysis of evolution In short, Wilber offers a feast of philosophical
thought, but for me it's a matter of "Take what you want and leave the rest."
