Another way to look at the evolution of levels is to presume the inorganic 
level possessed the seeds of life which blossomed into dominance of that
level.

This is a curious statement since when you look out at the universe, most in
fact nearly all of it is purely inorganic. Life as far as we can tell is
confined to here and now. It seems to be a rare and precious commodity
"dominating" buttkiss.
