You are absolutely right. It is a perfectly acceptable and reasonable to
translate Pirsig's work as a religious tract. A Qualia Sutra. Quality is
Anti-God. There are literally thousands of people who believe that
metaphysics and religions are cut out of the same cloth. As long as you
check your rationality at the door and just believe.
