This really puzzles me Marsha. Like, what do you expect? Charging me with
"projection" seems as relevant to the discussion as charging me with typing
words in the English language. I mean really. Talk about "duh".
I always project my own interpretation upon the reality presented to me.
Isn't that just inevitable? Isn't that what we all do?
The only alternative to projection I can imagine is refusing to engage at
all - the "not this, not that" approach. Sitting in a corner and
contemplating the self. I don't mind sitting in the corner, but my self is
composed of the inputs and people and reality I've encountered and thus I'm
bound to project. To my thinking, that's what I've been trying to explain
to you - the formulation of ideas and the thrusting them into the world -
the degeneracy of doing a Metaphysics of Quality, for instance.
