Whoa! Now who's projecting? And I'm willing to spell out what projecting
really means in this case. It's taking an interpretation of past experience
and projecting that experience into the future.
Whereas the truth is, Marsha. You can't be positive about what I'd do. The
only way to find out is to just do it and then see.
Like me.
But I guess that's the big leap that men find easier to make than women.

That is exactly what friends do. We reconstruct into stories that tie into
the rest of our being. Since "our being" is of our own design, then
obviously that is all there can be.
Do you have a problem with the idea that we each only construct meanings in
our own ways? Or are you operating under some sort of assumption that there
is a real reality out there, and it's our job to conform to it?
Last I checked, that's called "SOM" and while you and Bo may think that is
the only kind of thinking possible, I and others - whom Royce term "any
serious thinkers" vehemently disagree.
