Krimel and all,
I'm just exploring here putting mirror neurons together with infant
socialization and how that ties to development of empathy.
It makes sense to me that certain responses mirror reflexively and the
sensation of imitation gives realization of other.
What I mean is, when an infant automatically imitates facial expression,
tongue-poking and such, the innate internal sensation of "how that feels"
corresponds to a projection of how the other feels. Is that about right?
Fascinating. The biological component of socialization.
Too bad most moms won't let us experiment on their babies. We could try
off-expressions or non-expression and such to find out how screwed up a
human could get without proper socialization.
