Hi Ade
I was going to add 'age' where you put 'become ripe'.
I think that all patterns change in response to the environment that they exist in and this interaction is part of the moving towards Dynamic Quality. From rocks to ideas really - it's just the degree to which we are aware of that change that sometimes causes us to think that some things are ageless or unchanging. I also prefer stable to static as stable implies a temporary rather than a permanent state.
Good question though
Horse
Hello Horse,
yes, static is not doing it for me either.
It's a technical thing that doesn't have to detract from Lila because static patterns can have a dynamic function which seems to be associated with some and not others. The ones that definitely seem not to have a dynamic function seem static indeed.
The ones that do have a dynamic function do not seem to be easy to contemplate.
Maybe it's a problem of language but i'm not so sure.
Jung's Archetypes serve a function. I think that's a good way of putting it because Archetypes bring into individuation something that is outside space and time. And what does DNA do if it migrates toward DQ?
I assume DQ is outside space and time.
Thanks
Ade
