When you say "shown" you surely jest.  This implies that movies as popular
as Gore's Inconvenient Truth have been promoted by the media and seen by
all, or as many or even 1/4 the audience that he enjoyed.

A few esoteric scientific quibbles over "fudging the data" in the newspapers
for a few days hardly compares with the many charts, graphics and visions of
glaciers melting into the sea that Gore's show put on for us.  A show for
which he earned a Nobel Prize!  Not to mention the many nova shows and such
on tv that I can't describe because I've never seen.  How many "shows" have
you seen proclaiming global warming as a hoax?  Few to none, I'm sure.

Your idea of "shown" and mine are far, far apart I'm afraid.
