Hey John,
When it comes to whom to believe about global warming I'll take
Princeton physicist Freeman Dyson over a political hack like Al Gore.
Dyson wrote that climate change has become an "obsession," the
primary article of faith for "a worldwide secular religion" known as
environmentalism.
As for a "few esoteric scientific quibbles" over fudging data, the British
Parliament takes the "quibbles" seriously enough to convene hearings to
investigate the Climate Research Unit of East Anglia University, the
major source of climate data for the Intergovermental Panel on Climate
Change. The focus of the investigation? Data manipulation, date
suppression and data integrity.
So yes, we disagree on what constitutes "shown." Such is the nature of
friendly debate.
Regards,
Platt.
