There was a novel or work called "The closing of the American mind" 
and that's most relevant - for some that is. I don't know how many 
times I have cleared up the 4th. level's S/O distinction as different from 
the 3rd. level's individual/society one ... not to speak of the 2nd. level's 
self/not self, but trust D:T. to raise it again and again with the same 
silly arguments.
