In my Q'm" system, the only patterns that can be disharmonius with reality
or nature are intellectual patterns.  Intellect, by ripping itself free from
the normal attunement with nature, is capable of destroying the whole
planet.

So my "big academic" off-the-cuff response that had Arlo spewing his lager,
isn't that far off the mark.

Intellectual systems are not necessarily anti-life, but they can be.
