Ok, here's the thing I read the other day, and for some reason, I thought of
you, Horse.  It's more pertinent to a line of inquiry Marsha brought up,
because it concerns the former veep and his squelcher of vice, Tipper.

What a name.  Have you ever heard a more preppie name than "Tipper"?

Man she used to be hated.  All kinds of musicians and artists chimed in with
vitriol when Tipper came up with the idea of classifying certain artforms as
inappropriate for children, and I doubt much real thought has ever actually
gone into what is actually inappropriate for children, or the entire Disney
pantheon of matricidal mania would NOT  pass muster. But who cares about
philosophy or psychology?  Mostly what gets defined is by the fucking word.
That one word is  how you judge whether it's inappropriate for children or
not.

Rather a narrow criterion, if you ask me.  And I'm only weighing in unasked
because so much talk of censorship has been a topic as of late.

Anyway, back to Al and Tipper.  Lots of people don't know this, but Al
worked real hard to keep the sex magic going with Tipper.  He had all kinds
of scientific backing for the needs of the elderly, and lots of info on the
internet (which he'd invented) about ways to please a woman and he worked
real hard at it, like everything in his life.  In a stern and bumbling way.


He'd take charts to the nuptual chamber.  And a certain Earth Wind and Fire
cd which appealed to him and he thought he could get his groove on with.

But no matter how hard he tried, sweating away, consulting his charts,
working his ass off,  following the lyrics and bump-thrusting when his
charts told him to, nothing really worked.  Tipper would just get bored with
the whole attempt and after  awhile would criticize as gently as possible,

"Honey?  Your Al Gore Rhythm just isn't doin' it for me."
