[MD] The strong interpretation of the MOQ (SIM)

[John]
Good point, Arlo. It gets tricky, don't it. Since the "metaphysics
of Quality" IS a defining and delimiting of Quality, an admittedly
"degenerate activity". So we can agree that while Pirsig is no expert
on Quality, he's certainly an expert upon his own degenerate activity?

[Arlo]
LOL. Yeah, I like this. :-)

It just struck me as coming close to the height of absurdity to
declare that the man who's ideas we are here (ostensibly) to discuss
is the "least" authority on what those ideas are. It would be like me
saying, "Let's talk about what John's ideas are, but the person who
we can ignore the most in that discussion is John".

So I'd make a claim and you'd say "No, Arlo, that's not what I meant"
and I'd say "Quiet John, we are here to discuss what you meant, and
you have no authority on that subject".

This is the absurdity of Bo claiming "Pirsig is a weak interpreter of
Pirsig". I mean, c'mon.

Are you a "weak interpreter" of what John means? Who would be the
"strong interpreter"? Me? LOL.
