Good point, Arlo.

It gets tricky, don't it.  Since the "metaphysics of Quality" IS a defining
and delimiting of Quality, an admittedly "degenerate activity"

So we can agree that while Pirsig is no expert on Quality, he's certainly an
expert upon his own degenerate activity?
