Don't think it's necessary to go to China to know it's government doesn't
have a constitution that guarantees individual rights like like freedom of
speech, freedom of religion, trial by jury, etc. Can I assume you agree
these constitutional rights are one of America's best quality patterns that
you would include in your "mix?"

Hi Platt, I would include anything that promotes quality (i.e.harmony) exploration and integration of DQ/sq. I am not convinced that all of America's rights (as contained [and thereby limited]in its constitution) necessarily promotes this. I mean, with 'rights' come 'responsibilities' and 'accountability', a matter of checks and balances...dynamic improvement and latchings. As Donovan sang many years ago 'freedom is a word I rarely use without thinking'.
You are suggesting that America represents THE example of high quality endeavour to the rest of the world. If that really were the case Phaedrus need not have risen.
