Similar, yes, very. Probably because both are the foundation of their respective 
world views. Reminds me of: "Philosophy is the search for underlying assumptions"

Hmm... I hope not, shouldn't it at least be possible to show the problems within 
SOM, even without the MoQ? Isn't that what Pirsig did in both ZMM and Lila, 
before he presented the MoQ?
