[MD] The Gulfs between me and Disneyland

Hi John,
As a Brit in the oil & gas business I am happy to declare an
"interest" ... but "interestingly" I blogged a post earlier today (ie
before your mail) about the TV immediacy of the details of the problem
facing BP. Like, I can't imagine any blue-chip-corporate entity
reacting "better" to the problem BP face on our behalfs. Anyone know
how to solve the problem better - please step forward. Shit happens,
and when the going gets tough, etc ... the spectators throw rocks;
anyway, I come neither to bury or even to praise Caesar ... damned
either way.
The point ... despite branding Disneyland / World the place I'd least
like to spend 10 hours, and despite calling Vegas the arsehole of the
planet more than once (and believe me I've used the corporate
conference facilities a dozen times, so I do know Vegas), I have to
say that the Bellagio fountain does have a certain Quality. Je ne sais
quoi, mais ... so much greater quality than that Buckingham
wedding-cake monstrosity in Chicago for example.
The knowledge of "immediate experience" is worth so much more than
second hand TV or theme park simulation.
Regards
Ian
