Ok, so in your opinion the house is misguided. Certainly an amendment can
be formulated to rectify this. Personally I see such prayer as a historical
expression which demonstrates that there is no "separation of church and
state" being practiced as you demand. Prayer would not be happening if the
constitution purported no religion in the state. Now, I am not a strict
constitutionalist and I believe that interpretations change. But if you are
to invoke the first amendment, then read it carefully and be aware that the
way you are using it (which happened in 1949, I think) can change. I am
simply appealing to the intellectual side of you, not the religious
emotional side.
I have no problem with Allah, the interpretation revealed though his
disciple (which I do not care to name for fear for my children) has some
issues in my opinion. Allah's revelation comes through the Semitic lineage
in the same way that God does. Abraham had two sons (or more depending on
what part of the bible you read). The prophet which cannot be named came
from Ishmael his first son. Jesus came from Isaac, the second.
