[Mark]
Yes it is in the line drawing. The back door approach sounds ominous indeed.
Do you think there is a conspiracy?

[Arlo]
No, I don't think there is a conspiracy. But I think there are many who seek to
dismantle the wall of separation between church and state, and (to get back to
my old point) it shows a profound lack of understanding of why that is there
(e.g. the points in Jefferson's letter).

In MOQ terms, I think it is social level patterns attempting to dominate
intellectual level patterns.

[Mark]
My contention is that science has become a religion. It requires blind faith
and acceptance by the masses.

[Arlo]
I think this is precisely backwards. What "blind faith" does it require to
build wireless networks, or genetically cross-breed peas, or build an airplane,
or encompass the globe in cellular telephone signals? What "blind faith" did it
take to get us to the moon, or put satellites in orbit, or build bridges
capable of withstanding many earthquakes, or explore the deep rifts in our
ocean's floor?

[Mark]
If you use a scientific approach, then another can use a religious approach.
Which one is more valid?

[Arlo]
Depends on what you are doing? If you took your motorcycle in to be repaired,
which approach would you prefer the mechanic use? Are they both equally valid?

[Mark]
They have a web site of KCRW.COM. Don't know if you are familiar but it is on
weekdays from 9-12 pacific time if you like discovering new music.

[Arlo]
I'll check it out. Although most of my internet radio is CyberFM's channels on
punk and goth/ind.

[Mark]
Not at all. There are uses of the PC rule that I do find evil however.

[Arlo]
Ok. Well, my question to you was for an examples of "PC" you find evil. So can
you give me some?
