Wrong, Marsha.

I mean didn't laugh long and hard, but I chuckled. Definitely amused.
Albeit in an ironic and twisted sorta way, but what else would you expect
from me?

ah Marsha, a wise man once said, The suffering you have with you always.
It's a choice, right? If there was nobody choosing to suffer, there would
be no suffering. Who are you or I to dictate what choices other people
make?

I read a guy recently who explained it in terms of a shifting dream. From
"a city on a hill" to "eureka, I have found it" The El Dorado spirit. He
blames it as the Californication of America, post WWII, a most fascinating
thesis, incorporating the growth and evolution of the Hollywood-produced
mentality which has taken over.

Never fear, m'dear. I like being down. I'm at my best when beset. Most
engaged when most enraged. The bastards haven't even begun to get me down.
I'll let you know if and when,
your John
