I know this John.  Sometimes habit doesn't make it an easy choice.  I 
would never, or could never, dictate anybody's choice, but still it pains 
me to see anything suffer.  Indifference isn't one of my strong suits.

It may have flavors of that, but it is not that.  The article might still be 
interesting.  I've gotten so I rarely turn on the radio, and not even my iPod
interests me anymore.  I talked with my daughter this morning, that goodness
she still is experiencing optimism and enthusiasm for life.

I have no sense for giving thoughtful, kind, wise advice.  I'm a social klutz, but 
I think you're great and wish you lots of goodness!
