Dan:
In the MOQ, inorganic and biologcial patterns of value conform to
objects. We can see them. We can put them under a microscope and
examine them in great detail. Social and intellectual patterns of
value conform to subjects. They are in the mind. We can't see them. We
cannot put them under a microscope and examine them.

To participate in the Giant, we "buy" into it by trading value for
value. We might trade time for money. Or we might trade money for
time. We call it recompense. Along the way, we each seem to develop
"comfort" levels kept in place by those we associate with most. So we
end up getting out of life what we expect to get. And, call it karma
or evolutionary garbage or whatever, we often become attached to
detrimental patterns that hold us back and keep us from achieving what
we might otherwise.

The Giant isn't "out there" controlling us. The Giant is "in here"
controlling us. The Giant is all of us. But we can't see it or examine
it in any way. We can't change the Giant by physically manipulating
it. Turning off our tv won't work. Throwing away our newspaper won't
work. We can only change it by changing our way of thinking.

Thanks for reading,

Dan
