Yes, and I'd say this phenomenon of "the internet", arrived relatively
recently on the human social scene, gives new life and meaning to
"grassroots" and Politics. This is key, and why I think Dan, Tim, Horse and
I and others are intrigued about the MoQ and politics. It is central to the
evolution of the MoQ that while Quality can't be defined (controlled or
limited) We all know it when we see it. That "all of us know it" is a
political position of amazing power. Just imagine a forum which crafted
betterness out of variety of expression, and arrived at consensus through
rhetoric and automatically eliminated the childish and stupid, simply
through the very mechanisms of DQ. That's an amazing potentiality for the
world and community and even if my own feeble words are ignored as childish
and stupid, if they could help the formation of mature wisdom in the end,
I'd be proud of being part of that process.
Whirled Peas leading to World Peace, and the prayers of all those beauty
contestestants would be answered at last.
Idealistically,
John
