Everyone on this list, without exception, is subject to the 10K rule at 
present.
The reason for this is that I have asked everyone to properly format 
their posts. This includes removing any irrelevant text, no one line 
replies to long posts etc.
Despite several request for the above, not just from myself, some folk 
are still not bothering to format posts properly.
Their intransigence results in the 10K rule remaining.
This can cause delays in posting for those who do format their posts but 
they are long posts. I don't have a problem with long posts as long as 
they are properly formatted.
So the majority of posts over 10K are passed straight through and I 
rarely, if ever, reject a post for content.
Unfortunately, in the past I have had to ask Marsha on several occasions 
to format her posts correctly and this looked like a post that fell into 
the 'not well formatted' category. So it was rejected.
No-one, including myself, gets more room than anyone else and any post 
over 10K that is badly formatted gets rejected.
It does seem to me that it is unfair on those who do put the time and 
effort into their posts that their work should be delayed because of the 
intransigence, selfishness etc. of others who don't appear to care. This 
is not my doing however - I am not responsible for others not caring.

It would be nice if everyone paid a little more attention to the quality 
of both content and presentation of their posts but until that happens 
the 10K rule remains.

There is an alternative. I could suspend members who continually ignore 
my requests for quality posts on a forum concerned with Quality. But 
then I'd get moaned at for that as well.
