My question to Dave was that if we do not know what's better, then how
can we will ourselves towards it?

Ron:
Things that have no value do not exist, we always know whats better
or at the least what should be better, we trade some levels of goods
for others which is'nt always best, but thats why we try to have reasons
for why we make choices or fall back to the "gut feeling" 
The driving force of intuition and curiousity of explanation and meaning.
In fact we are betterness, existing is betterness.
Quality is to "be".
