It's not "no choice".
It's no (enforced) choice between the logical options (apparently)
offered by the situation, ie a step back & sideways to find the BETTER
decision.

explanation it means 

a greater range of choice. This is what I mean about a shift in context from an

understanding of what DQ means in relation to the overall "framework" and what 
DQ means
within a particular context of dogma and rigid conceptual values.

When the two are conflated it results in a type of  anti-intellectual nihlism.
