Strathern doesn't make Wittgenstein or his philosophies seem more than madness, or at least, very strange.   He certainly seems antiquality-like.  Vienna school and the Logical Positivists...  I'll try a biography.  And OMG, he's Jewish, and a Christian, a Catholic...
