Hi Joe,
In my opinion, physics is no more real than metaphysics.  They are both descriptions created by the human mind.  Of course metaphysics is much older, and therefore has much more information associated with it.  However, the principles of physics are a very simplified view, and are therefore easier to grasp without much study.  We have been taught to find more reality in the description of physics, but this too shall pass.

I am not sure if you are speaking of a balance between the spiritual and the material.  If you are, I agree.
