Really?   First, they are not my words, and, here, a little further into LILA:

I guess you, dmb, are among the screening-out population.

While these statements may represent pointing to the Ultimate Truth, I wouldn't classify these quotes, from the Diamond Sutra, Steve Hagen and RMP, as anti-intellectual.  I have to wonder about your definition of Intellectual-quality that you find them to represent something anti-intellectual.  Btw, what is your definition of intellectual static patterns of value?  Since you accuse me of rejecting intellectual value, how are you defining that level of value?  

Further, I don't think it is a legitimate either/or proposition.  I have never rejected the conventional usefulness of static intellectual patterns.  They represent the most evolved static patterns; 
I don't reject them.  I just acknowledge their limitation.
