I still have a 'dumb' phone. I write all my stuff on the keyboard
sitting at my computer. But I know folk who read books on their
iPhones all the time. I actually did publish some of my stuff on
Smashbooks to make it more accessible to the other e-readers out there
like Nook and the iPad but I didn't sell enough to justify it, so I
ub-published everything except Lila's Child. That way I can take
advantage of the Kindle Select program at Amazon... do give-aways from
time to time, stuff like that.

Dan:
Who can say? We're in uncharted territory so far as the e-book
revolution goes. I still have my original copy of ZMM from 1974 but it
is full of notes and the cover has fallen off and some of the pages
have come undone from the binding. I stuff them back into the book
hoping I haven't inadvertently lost any of them. On the other hand,
the e-copy on my hard drive is still pristine. If I want to add notes
I have a separate copy I keep specifically for that purpose. I keep
all my files backed up, of course. Flash drives are very cheap and
hold a ton of data. So I fully expect any of my electronic data to
last for at least as long as my paper copies if not longer.
