[MD] A problem with the MOQ.

I really have no idea what you are talking about! If you do not accept the DQ/sq division and insist on maintaining a classic/romantic(of sq) split, you show, by your question above, that you have very little understanding of what Pirsig tried to make clear and what impact it has (or should have...without you seemingly realizing it) regarding the formulation of a metaphysics.

Truly Tuukka, and I may get accusations, again, of being a callous, insensitive bastard who criticizes everything and anything under the sun (forcefully) without putting forward a constructive alternative him or herself, but for goodness' sake: how are you improving the MoQ the way you try to do with your SOQ?

And as for putting forward alternative suggestions? Since I am still in the process of fully realizing the far-reaching implications and insights developed and seen by Pirsig ( and I do this daily in living my life as I am living and sharing it, reading the books I am reading and have read, watching the developments (politically, economically, socially, psychologically and intellectually) I have nothing 'new' to contribute for now...let alone 'improvements'.

The only thing I find, on this discuss with regards to 'improvements on Pirsig's MOQ' are organic and primal social (i.e biological and narcissistic) wanks.

Sorry to put it this way but somebody has to do it. Why not me, who, as Marsha keeps on insisting, has no reality anyway? So what are we talking about?
