Now we've got this off our chests could we please get back to philosophy and the MoQ?

Ron sez:
Are political discussions worthy of philosophical debate? Often, the participants are unable
to successfully argue simply because they enter the discussion determined not to be reasoned
with.
Political opinion, seems to be a collection of prejudices formed before the age of 18 and rarely may
it be discussed "reasonably" with an aim toward a philosophic attitude.

The problem has become the primacy of politic over reason and confusing political debate with
philosophic discussion crippeling the system of the democratic republic.

Instead of reasoning from what is best they reason from prejudice and as long as discussions extend
from prejudices no real advancement may be made and therfore they hold little intellectual value.

That which holds little intellectual value has little utility in a philosophic discussion forum,
and that is reason enough to filter it out.
