First, a comment about polls: if you ask people what their favorite book is,
the winner will always be The Bible.  Because Christians will vote as a bloc
for it, while the votes of non-Christians (even if they were more numerous) would be
scattered among various books.
Secondly, the most striking difference to me between "The Board's List" & "The Reader's List",
is that the readers GENERALLY prefer novels of ideas, rather than character-driven or literary
novels.
