Mark to Andre:
What is clear to me is that often we are saying the same thing.
Andre:
You could have fooled me Mark.
Mark:
So before you make such statements, how about you choose something which
I have presented and explain your concerns?
Andre:
You know as well as I do that it doesn't work that way Mark. The
accusation of ripping things 'out of context' has been used regularly on
this Discuss and doesn't get us any further. I will simply adopt the
line you used with Marsha on March 7: "You need to figure it out for
yourself, there is nothing I can tell you" inviting, possibly the
inevitable follow up exchange between you two: "Bugger off".
I'd also take heed of Horse's advice: "Taking a lack of agreement as
agreement has less quality than silence."
Okay, just a little one. You claim (to Craig and David, March 12):
"Pirsig states that everything has free will, everything."
Please supply the quote. Where does Pirsig make that claim. I am very
interested.
