Hi Antonio

Thank you for writing... you are a very kind person. Please allow me
to attempt an answer to your question as to what is happening here...

This is a discussion list devoted to the works of Robert Pirsig. As
long as contributors have a decent grasp of Zen and the Art of
Motorcycle Maintenance and Lila, they will no doubt submit posts of
high quality to keep the dynamic flowing... and everyone will enjoy
intelligent and fulfilling discussions.

However! Certain people have infiltrated the group spouting nonsense
and disrupting any intelligent discussions brewing. Mark is a prime
example but he is not alone. For the longest time it was plain to all
that he'd never read a word of Robert Pirsig. Perhaps that has
changed... I don't know. But he has yet to grasp the essentials and
instead of attempting to learn a bit from folk like dmb, Horse, Andre,
and a number of others who've been here a long time, he hurls insults
and high-handed remarks at them.

If this was just an open discussion group, then yes, I would agree
with you that there are rooms for everyone. It is not. These people
like Mark and Tuukka and others who do not care a thing about Mr.
Pirsig's work are ruining it for those who do.

That is (in my opinion) the source of the animosity you are
unfortunate witness to. May I offer my apologies and best wishes for
your continued participation.

Thank you,

Dan
